"Sequestered" 1 & 2 by Krystii Melaine
Paint is precious to me and I never like to waste it. At the end of each painting day, I take whatever pretty colors are mixed on my palette and apply them to one of the several abstract paintings that I have going at all times. These two small paintings evolved in that way. Each section of color is applied day by day, layer by layer, with no plan in mind. What evolves is a story of the other paintings I've been working on over the past several months. Along the way I add in a focal point, and these two have touches of gold for added sparkle.
