"My Friend Next Door" by Krystii Melaine, 12” x 12”

This painting evolved from the leftover paint on my palette as I painted some pink flamingos. Bright pink and orange contrast with lime green and purple in a random pattern of lines and shapes, suggesting a grid of urban streets. The two circles each live in their own space, but right next door to each other like friendly neighbors.
