In this piece, I limited the palette to a warm eggplant (red violet), using only quinacridone violet, ultramarine blue, transparent red oxide and white to develop each value. However, I applied a lime acrylic base on the piece before I started, which allows other colors to peek through when inspected up close. It's a nice discovery for the viewer!
