It's something you can state with absolute certainty about these vintage machines with their steel bodies and formidable engines. They just keep on truckin'! During my high school years in the 70s, the stepside trucks started appearing as rare treasures among the souped-up hot muscle cars of the day, creating a new appreciation for their timeless style. I grabbed the photo of this guy during a car show a few years ago and decided to honor his features of polished chrome surrounding his handsome portrait with my pop art version of his classic style. I can absolutely imagine he's traveled at least a 1000 highways!
