"Two figures in striking hues and patterns journey through a landscape of textures, skillfully transporting their wares."

A few times, as a kid, I tried walking across a room with books piled on my head. I'd heard that's what girls do to learn to walk "lady-like." Soon enough the books were all over the floor. I am astounded how expertly the women in some southeast Asian and African countries (and who knows where else) are able to carry mountainous burdens on their heads seemingly without effort. Needless to say, it's a practiced art that builds very strong neck muscles! "To Market" celebrates these women – women who are tough and strong and beautiful, who work long, hard hours to provide for their families. They are a better definition of “lady-like”. I tip my hat to them, which is about as much weight as I can carry on my head. ~ kg

What to Choose? This Fine Art Paper print comes in an  image square with a 1.5" white border surrounding the image. One option is to mat it with a 2" to 3" mat and place it in a simple black frame with glass. Since these prints are surrounded by a white border, another option is to jazz up it up with a fun metallic or colorful frame (with glass) in the printed size. Go to pictureframes.com for a variety of frames to choose one that fits your own special style. (We're not affiliated. We just like their stuff.)
