I often attend the local rodeos and ranch round-ups in my area. I love watching the various events in the arena, but I also love observing others attending these events. During one of these occasions, I had been photographing the action on the other side of the pole fence when I noticed this woman standing with her high-heeled boots, one of which was linked into the rails, and her perpetually-prepared designer bag set beside her. The whole aura of her stance, obviously a no-nonsense woman, etched an opportunity for a fun painting in my mind. She knows who she is, no doubt about it, and I'm betting those in the stands above her understood her 'priorities'.
