One of the photos I took during a modeling session a few years ago was of two American Indian Crow Women with the elder of the two adding last minute touches to the younger woman’s dress. In this wonderful example of passing traditions down through generations, the younger woman allows final preparations on her dress for what we assume is a special event they are about to attend. My favorite part about this piece was the expression on the younger woman’s face as she recognizes the need to be patient while eager to get on with the anticipated adventure.
