Many years ago, both sister-partners, Kathi and Terry, worked at the same corporation in downtown San Diego. The company's location was just blocks from the Embarcadero, which was a walkway along the edge of the docks continually full of military as well as tourist and cruise ships. The cool air, palm trees, seagulls, and lapping water were refreshing moments before going back to our cubicles. This textured piece reflects an abstracted view echoing memories of the city that was familiar to us during those years.
